Teamwork Wins, Ltd. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides answers for children with invisible challenges. Our goal is to help children integrate their physical, emotional and spiritual needs so they can blend with society without changing who they are. This helps children transform their challenges into strengths so they are ready for today's playgrounds, classrooms and workplaces. Teamwork Wins also teaches parents, teachers and other professional staff that things aren't always what they seem. This creates caring communities that are more accepting of invisible challenges.
Invisible challenges include, but are not limited to, AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, Sexual and Verbal Abuse.
In July of 1998, at age thirty-three, Adele Saccarelli Cavallaro was diagnosed with Dyslexia and AD/HD. Her hyperactivity & attention problems caused her to miss blocks of information in school. Problems with sustaining her mental focus interferred with her reading, understanding & decision-making skills. This difficulty also affected her relationships, her reading, writing, conversational & communication skills. Motivated to find a solution, Adele discovered that not one method alone was successful in dealing with her challenges. It took utilizing traditional & alternative methods to effectively help Adele to eliminate & cope with her challenges. After graduating from the A.D.D. Coach Academy, she had an idea to create an organization that would provide every child with an Invisible Challenge access to ALL quality resources. She called it “Teamwork Wins.”
Michael Cavallaro, had spent most of his life searching for alternative ways to work with the unseen challenges of life. In the 1970's, he studied the various modalities that were available at the time. He trained with multi-generational healers throughout the world. By the 1990's, he developed a way of working with individuals with Invisible Challenges by incorporating his previous years of training which today is called Metaphysical Mentoring.
By the time Adele & Michael met in October 1999, they realized that their individual goals were taking them in the same direction. By combining their goals, the concept of Teamwork Wins Ltd. (TWW) became a reality in November 2000.
The members of TWW now research & employ optional modalities of various treatments for Invisible Challenges. The purpose of TWW is to research, educate & inform the public of both traditional & alternative methods of health and wellness.
