Express Yourself! provides a fun environment where children can comfortably connect with peers. This cutting-edge program is geared towards children who are sensitive, intuitive, curious, expressive, strong-willed, “different,” and/or who have either poor or no communication skills. Also for children who are highly distractible or who have difficulty expressing feelings or blending in with others.
Express Yourself! teaches children how to have confidence in who they are and how to be creators of the development of their own inner strength and talents. The children will be involved in various activities including: art, music, exercise and much more!!! By integrating multiple learning modalities, Express Yourself! creates an interactive learning experience rather than a linear structure.
In addition, children are taught about their feelings and how to express, communicate, and understand the world around them. Yes…meltdowns and conflicts may occur. These occurrences are an integral part of our program; we consider these TEACHABLE MOMENTS!
