Teen Night! Peer Mentoring (Week night) Program
Peer Mentoring is a unique and highly successful peer-directed program for pre-teens and adolescents with AS and HFA. Our trained, peer mentors offer an understanding of the social expectations of pre-teens and adolescents today! Our peer mentors are trained to offer children with Invisible Challenges™ an understanding of the social expectations of preteens and adolescence today! These individuals typically possess the following qualities: assertiveness, compassion, intuitive and integrity.
This carefully designed program (for ages 14-21) will take place in a variety of community settings such as, Habitat for Humanity, After-school programs, parks, cafés, movies, bookstores, swim clubs, pizza places, camps, malls, etc., anywhere that adolescents hang out !

Program beginning in September 2011 – Thursday nights! Mostly boys 7-8pm $30 AND Tuesday nights it’s mostly girls 5-7pm $60 Both nights held in Harleysville, Pa

Peer Mentor Training
Our Peer Mentoring Training Program is a unique and highly successful program for children between the ages 10-21. Our trained, peer mentors are trained to offer children with Invisible Challenges™ an understanding of the social expectations of preteens and adolescence today! These individuals typical possess the following qualities: assertiveness, compassion, intuitive and integrity. Our Autism Specialists work as a team with our skilled mentors to create an individualized social-awareness for each of the pre-teen or adolescents enrolled in the program. After completing program, a trained peer mentor will be able to work in our Connections programs, community peer mentoring and our Lego Clubs.
